History Day

Lesson: History

Children enjoyed stepping back in time for History Day. Everyone made a fantastic effort to dress up as characters from the past and  shared their findings from research about historical figures including Cleopatra, Florence Nightingale and John Lennon. 

We enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities related to the history topics we have been learning about this year and children produced writing in Egyptian Hieroglyphics, tickets to board the Titanic, Ancient Greek comic strips and Tudor portraits. We even created a human timeline from Early Man up to the swinging sixties.
