to the website for Bishop Martin Church of England Primary School in Liverpool.
Our school is currently closed except for children of critical workers due to the COVID pandemic. All other children are taking part in remote learning off site. We are using Microsoft Teams for live lessons and Seesaw (Y1-Y6) and Tapestry (Reception) for prerecorded lessons and submitting and receiving feedback on their work.
Children and our staff have adapted really well to this new way of working and we are so appreciative of all the support from all our families.
Childcare provision 7.30 - 6pm
Our breakfast club remains open from 7.30am for Y1 - Y6 and after school provision is also open until 6pm. Both are led by Bishop Martin staff. Please book this if you need this provision via Parentmail (R - Y6). Breakfast Club and After School Club must be booked a week in advance please so we can ensure we have the right staff available for their year group bubbles within breakfast club and after school club.
School Improvement Plan Priorities
For the academic year 2020-2021, our whole school priorities are:
- To ensure our ‘inspire’ curriculum supports children’s mental health and well-being.
- To further improve the teaching and learning of reading and writing to raise standards for all.
- To develop leadership at all levels (including pupil leaders) to impact positively on our ‘Inspire’ curriculum.
We are determined as a school to continue to innovate, reflect and improve despite the challenges of operating within a pandemic.
Please click on our virtual tour tab at the top of this home page if you are a new prospective parent who is enquiring about a school place for our reception class 2021. If you would like to enquire about a place for a child at our school in other year groups, please get in touch via our contact page.
With best wishes
