Hello and welcome to the Year 3 class page.
On this page, you will be able to see all the exciting and engaging things that Year 3 will get up this half-term.
Year 3 will be taught maths by Mr Hughes and English by Mrs Carroll. We have lots of fun and interesting experiences planned for you.
In English, we will continue to study one main book, but we will also be reading a wide variety of other texts - both fiction and non-fiction - from across our curriculum to help strengthen our understanding in a range of topics.
This half-term, we will be studying Forces and Magnets in science, all about volcanoes in geography and Ancient Greece in history.
Throughout this term, Year 3 will have table tennis on a wednesday and cricket on a Thursday so they will therefore need their PE kit.
Homework will be set every Friday and be collected the following Tuesday.
