Autumn adventures

This week Reception Class have enjoyed exploring the changing seasons and investigating the wonders of Autumn! Children have created a wonderful collection of autumn treasures including conkers, leaves and berries and have used them in maths in support our sorting and counting skills. We celebrated the Harvest festival and worked together to create our thankfulness scarecrow Super Frank. Children have loved reading stories related to our topics including The Little Red Hen and Pumpkin Soup and we have been busy exploring different vegetables and baking bread. 

As part of our R.E topic 'I am special' we have been sharing our baby pictures and discussed how we are growing and learning more each day. Next week we have some real newborn babies visiting class!
